Level 1 & 2 Courses - Further information

Here follows some information on how to prepare, how to get here, what to bring etc, however if you have a question or are unsure of anything, please contact me either by phone or email, and I will be pleased to help.
Level 1 & 2 Class location : Cork International Hotel ( Cork Airport)
Accommodation : The hotel offers a good accommodation package for those attending the Dr Vodder School Ireland Courses, particularly when sharing.
Contact Sophie Curtin + 353 21 454 9800, info@corkinternationalhotel.com to book. Otherwise the hotel is in easy proximity to the city with plentiful Air B&B accommodation
What to wear
Please bring comfortable clothing to work in, and sometimes a few layers are a good idea so that you can adjust the layers to suit the temperature, we will be including body work each day
Towels & Plinths
Massage plinths and couch covers are supplied, but I ask everyone to bring two large towels and a small towel.
Drinks and lunch
Morning coffee and pastries will be covered, light lunch is recommended to bring or to purchase at the hotel restaurant.

Course notes and tutorials
My own optional Dr Vodder Ireland tutorials and UTube playlist will enhance the theory already completed online, complimented with 2 zoom calls of theory revision should you wish. Times will be outlined by email
Times and structure of practical course
Each day study will start on time at 8.30am and finish at 5.30pm. Please do everything you can to be on time. There will be a morning and afternoon break and an hour for lunch.
Level 1: MLD Basics
There will be room for some flexibility but generally the class will run as follows:
Day 1-4 will be dedicated to practical techniques, with the option if needs be of completing a paper exam if you have not successfully passed the online theory, there will be no practical exam this module.
You will be issued with a Dr Vodder MLD Level 1 certificate of attendance (not for therapeutic practice, but for family and friends with healthy lymphatic systems )
Level 2: Applied MLD
Please come prepared to study ,there is a lot to cover. We will cover most of Level 1 practical content again but this time more detail and emphasis on technique improvement.
The course room will be at your disposition for the evening if you wish to avail of the space for evening practical (HIGHLY recommended) or study space.

Therapist Certificate
You will be issued with a certificate for Level 2 on the last day provided you meet the required standards by passing the practical exam set by the Dr Vodder Akademie, Austria. This is an internationally ISO accredited and recognised certificate.
Fees
The balance of the fees must be paid in advance of the last module commencing, all online via the DVSI Website.
Departure Pack
- I will issue each student a ‘Departure pack’ on the last day, which will include
- Your certificate on successful completion of exam.
- Details of how to join MLD Ireland (highly recommended)
